Poetry & Poetics Workshop Welcome Social
Lowertown Bar & Café
This event will provide a casual space to learn more about the PPW, meet new peers interested in poetry and poetics, and help shape our upcoming year of events. After our happy hour concludes, attendees are welcome to walk or drive together to the reading and Q&A with Carl Phillips, hosted by the Zell Visiting Writers Series. Attendees are encouraged to bring ideas for texts we can read together in small groups or a book recommendation (can be for fun or for work!) for the whole group.

This event will include three parts: a short presentation by librarian Vander Broek, time to look through the collection, and a culminating discussion about the event.
